Can you play a bass through this guitar amp?

You can, but as others have already mentioned, it can be hard on the speaker. It WILL NOT just outright destroy the amp (as a lot of people seem to believe). Chris Squire and Lemmy have both been using guitar amps for their basses for over 40 years (they use speakers designed for bass amps though). Just keep the volume low and it should be fine.
